Building Surveyor

Your new company

A Building Consultancy specialising in Building Surveying, Valuation and Business Appraisal, with a nationwide reach are looking for a newly Chartered Building Surveyor to join their expanding team. The practice is a smaller one of around 50 staff, however the company are part of a much larger group. The company is active within the retail, education and healthcare sectors to name a few.


Your new role
As a Chartered Building Surveyor your role will cover all core aspects of building surveying work. There will be an even split between project management and professional services. You will report into one of the Senior Building surveyors within the team.

Duties will include:
- Advising on corporate dilapidations
- Party wall matters
- Construction design and building works
- Pre-acquisition surveys
- Schedules of Condition
- Planning applications
- Asbestos surveying
- Project management

What you'll need to succeed

You will need to be chartered surveyor with 2-5 years PQE. You should have sound experience in the full breadth of building surveying duties from professional work to project management. You should also hold a full drivers licence. Private practice experience is required in this role. Ideal candidates will have sound commercial awareness and business acumen.
