POST:            Senior Estates Surveyor

GRADE:        9                    

SALARY:      £37,849 - £41,675 with potentially a market supplement of £3,500 pa for an outstanding candidate

TERMS:         37 Hours / Permanent

A vacancy has arisen for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to join the Estates Team.

You will be required to manage the Councils property portfolio and a personal caseload comprising of a mix of valuations, negotiations relating to leases, rent reviews and licences, disposals and acquisitions. You will be pivotal in ensuring that the Council achieves best value in relation to its assets portfolio.

You should be a Member of RICS and a registered valuer or eligible to take on that status, with significant experience in the management of commercial & operational property including valuation, negotiation, acquisition or disposal, Leasehold & Tenancy of all types of land and property

Previous experience of working in a similar role would be an advantage as this is a busy office environment and you will be required to make an immediate contribution to the team.

The majority of your work will involve travelling across the Borough to visit tenants and leaseholders operating out of Council assets.
