Chartered Building Surveyor

An MRICS Building Surveyor is required, to join a well regarded multi-disciplined property and construction consultancy based in Leicester.

About the company

The company have 10 offices based in the UK and are comprised of over 500 employees operating globally. They work within a variety of sectors, providing exceptional solutions within Education, Commercial, Government, Housing, Motorsports and many more.

Leicester’s office is comprised of 30 professionals ranging from Building Surveyors, Quantity Surveyors, CDM and Project Managers.

More specifically the Building Surveying team is nine-strong, led by a very knowledgeable well-regarded Director. They are very experienced in the local and regional market, and consistently known for providing a timely, pragmatic and quality service offering.

Projects include Large Industrial and Commercial schemes with contract values ranging up to £30million.

About you

If successful, you will be responsible for providing advice on repair, refurbishments and new builds across the residential, education and commercial space, working closely with private and public sector clients.

You will be required to carry out Building, Condition and Measured surveys, Dilapidations, Party wall, Building pathology, Specification, Contract Administration through to Technical Due Diligence, Planning applications, Appeals, Boundary disputes and Government grants.

The successful candidate will be chartered via MRICS or MCIOB. Has a winning attitude, who enjoys business development as well as mentoring. It is important that you are technically competent and enjoy generalist building surveying. In return, the business will provide full support to an individuals personal and professional development.
