Quantity Surveyor - PQS

Quantity Surveyor for 3-6 months to work within estates department of public sector organisation

Working in the specialist projects team of a large estate department of a public sector organisation.


As an experienced PQS you will be working within the major projects team Providing QS and Cost management services on a variety of projects ranging from a £25M new build , £5M investment on a rural campus to annual cycle of upgrades and refurbishments. Whilst working as the Internal QS you will be managing external QS organisations, liaise with Local Authorities, Architects and other Stakeholders.

You will have a relevant Quantity Surveying qualification, ideally be RICS and have a varied experience within an estate function - education, healthcare , local authority, university or client side and be able to work with multiple organisations and stakeholders.

A typical day will include:

* Project and cost management
* Preparing cost plans and monthly reports
* Preparation of tender documents
* Contract Administration Benefits
Site Visits


A flexible and professional approach would be welcome as you may be called upon to support other teams within the estate function.

This role offers a day rate and flexibility- A minimum of 3 days per week up to 5 days depending upon your commitments and availability, but you will be required to work in the office. Flexible hours are on offer.
