East Suffolk Council is an exciting place to work and a great place to make a real difference to people's lives, delivering vital services to a quarter of a million people across East Suffolk.
With a new Asset Management Strategy in place, this is a fantastic time to join our growing team. We are looking for an Estates Surveyor to assist with the day-to-day management of the Council's asset portfolio, which will include valuations, lease renewals, due diligence, inspections and reporting to Councillors on the performance of the portfolio. Mobility within the district is essential as there will be a requirement to travel.
You must be MRICS with a minimum of 4 years relevant post qualification experience, have experience of managing a mixed commercial portfolio and experience of working to agreed targets within a commercial environment.
In return, we can offer great opportunities for training and development. We want you to stay with us for the long-term, so we'll give you all the support we can to build a great career with our organisation. There's also a superb benefits package including flexible working options and purpose-built, brand new office accommodation, as well as a generous leave entitlement, discount scheme, pension scheme and free car parking.
* plus, essential car user allowance and professional subscription.
