Assistant Building Surveyor, South Wales/M4 Corridor, Private Consultancy (SME), Permanent, £26,000 + benefits


Your new company
Your new company are a multidisciplinary Surveying Consultancy based in Gloucester looking to open an office in Cardiff with a number of clients in South Wales and along the M4 corridor.

They offer services including Building Surveying, Commercial Property Services and Development and have a large client base including public sector bodies and large retail clients with a varied and interesting workload.

Due to the increase in workload and a growing client base, this company are looking to hire an Assistant Building Surveyor to work alongside the Director and Building Surveyors.

Your new role
Your new role will involve undertaking a wide range of Building Surveying technical duties, client-facing and running meetings.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need a degree in a relevant subject (Surveying, Construction, Building Surveying) ideally RICS accredited but this is not essential. Experience would be an advantage as the team are busy however again this is not essential for the right candidate.

You will need an understanding of a technical Building Surveying role including skills such as technical due diligence, condition surveys, party wall disputes, dilapidations and the motivation to grow and learn. A 'can-do' attitude and the confidence to work in a client-facing role.

Full driving license and a willingness to travel.

Annual salary is £23,000 - £26,000 depending on experience and level.
