Senior Building Surveyor

Our client is a recognised multi-disciplined construction consultancy, offering a superb opportunity for a senior chartered building surveyor to join and help develop a number of key accounts within the public and private sectors.

The business employs circa 120 strong, providing specialist advice within project management, building surveying, cost consultancy and health & safety. They have a solid footprint within London, working with a unique portfolio of clients across the residential, commercial, and education space.

The opportunity would suit somebody who enjoys project work and is competent in carrying out professional building surveying services, when needed. As your key accounts main point of contact, you will be responsible for a small team of very talented graduates through to newly qualified building surveyors, overseeing projects from inception through to completion, acting as project manager or employer’s agent on instructions that value up to a few million in total. You will also be responsible for proving technical advice, whether that be party wall related, surveys, or technical reports. 

The successful candidate will be chartered with a minimum of 3 years post chartership experience. You will have a strong track record in managing CA programmes of work and have demonstratable experience in core building surveying services. Somebody with education and housing experience would be ideal though not essential.
