Assistant Project Manager

A superb position has been created for an assistant building surveyor to progress in to project management by a boutique building consultancy in the City.

About our client;

The business provides a full range of project management and consultancy services to developers, institutions, landlords and occupiers.

The team consists of chartered surveyors and project managers, all of whom are experts in their own right and are part of a high performing culture.

The business will drive your personal and professional development, helping you to become a chartered project manager with the RICS or another professional affiliation. They will give you a diverse range of projects and clients to work with that will challenge you and offer a platform to progress as quickly as your abilities allow.

About the role;

From day one you will be involved in a variety of projects, mainly within the commercial but also working in industrial and residential. You will report in to an experienced associate, who will nurture your talent and give you the exposure and support to run your own projects.

Projects range from £2 million to £70 million; they vary in complexity and stature, typically all within the M25 and could be new build, refurbishments, extensions, alterations or cut and carve.

About you;

You will have a building surveying or quantity surveying/ cost management degree and be looking to become chartered. It is essential that you understand JCT contracts and have experience administering contracts. You must have excellent communication skills as you will be interacting with clients on a daily basis.

Compensation;

• Up to £40,000
• Travel/car allowance
