Associate Director - Building Surveyor (MRICS)
I am seeking an Associate Director Building Surveyor who is MRICS qualified to join our international client in their West End of London office.
Our client is increasing their team size due to an ever increasing workload.
Duties will include undertaking professional and project work for private investment firms, institutions and a range of corporate clients working closely with our client's asset services department.
You will need to have gained broad based building surveying experience of both project and professional duties.
Projects will mainly be offices and industrial buildings across the South East and also due diligence across the UK and in Europe.
Our client is an international firm of property and construction consultants.
You will be a Chartered Building Surveyor with a Degree or Diploma or MSc in Building Surveying plus you will need to be MRICS qualified.
You will ideally have at least five years post qualification experience.
You must have experience in all core Building Surveying duties in particular good experience of due diligence, surveys, and dilapidations.
You should have experience of contract administration and preparation of specifications and schedules of work.
Experience of drafting of Standard Contract forms.
Experience of defect analysis.
Be able to negotiate on behalf of Landlords & Tenants.
You should be able to contribute to business development and networking activities.
You will join a large team of Building Surveyors, Quantity Surveyors, MEP Engineers, Project Managers etc.
You should be able to supervise and mentor others being a good role model.
You should be able to manage your own workload and the workloads of others.
You need to have a stable work record and good communication skills.
A full UK driving licence holder is preferred.
Salary around £65000 to £80000 plus car allowance, bonus, pension, health insurance, life assurance, professional fees, and other benefits.
