Your new company
Your new company is a nationally renowned & market leading Construction Consultancy with a sterling reputation and a track record of setting and maintaining exceptional standards of service to a diverse range of clients.

Having recently successfully secured long-term Framework agreements with a national public sector client, the business need an intermediate level Project Manager to cover a variety of construction and property projects throughout the South East.

Your new role
Working alongside a team of Project Managers and Senior Project Managers, and reporting into the Programme lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the full life-cycle of refurbishments, fit-out, repairs and extensions to Properties across Sussex, Surrey, & Hampshire.

Each project will use PPC 2000 or NEC contracts, and you will be solely responsible for the management of works from business cases through to project delivery on projects up to £2-3m in value, as well as assisting Senior PMs across larger projects up to £30m.

Many of the projects will be carried out on operational sites and will therefore involve complex logistical obstacles, and will focus on properties such as courts & prisons, offices and warehouses, and may involve extending existing structures, repairing roofs, replacing fire & security systems, upgrading external decorations, managing internal fit-outs and more.

You will be based from the company's Epsom office but have the option to work from Tunbridge Wells or Central London when necessary.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed in this role you will need to have existing construction project management experience preferably from a building surveying background.

The ideal candidate will have experience working for a building consultancy carrying out contract administration for projects up to £1m and will be able to comfortably take in a project brief, survey a property, produce a specification.

You will need strong contract admin experience and knowledge of PPC 2000 and NEC contracts which are primarily used for theses projects.

You will need to be a logical problem solver who can effectively provide efficient solutions to obstacles encountered during projects. Taking place on live/operational sites there will be an added level of complexity involved.

You will need to be a strong team player with enthusiasm and drive to deliver projects on time and within budget through collaboration with other consultants, contractors and stakeholders.
