Chartered Building Surveyor

About the role
The role will see you working within an office of around 45 strong providing services across all of the aforementioned services. You will be based in a team of 14 Building surveyors, who are split into two sectors. The commercial team is made up of 6 members working under one associate and the remaining working within the public sector under a team leader. They provide a wide range of building surveying services overseeing projects from inception through to completion of projects totaling up to £4Million. Some of the core day to day duties will consist of:
• Providing advice on repair and refurbishments
• Project Management & Contract Administration.
• Dilapidations and party wall advice
• Design & Specification.
• Technical due diligence.
The team is looking for a chartered building surveyor with a minimum of 1-year PQE. Previous experience within a similar role would be ideal though not essential. You must also demonstrate a fine level of communication and commercial awareness, as these are the two attributes that are vital to becoming successful in this role.
The role will be a combination of project and professional services, so it is imperative you are well informed of these areas.
