A pan-European private equity firm is looking to source a Bi-Lingual Investment Analyst with superb modelling/excel skills to focus on pan-European acquisitions. Our client specialises in strategically driven, corporate finance led, real estate transactions in Europe. It works with corporates, governments and financial institutions wishing to invest in opportunistically-led critical real estate with single tenants and multiple high quality assets.
You will be joining a team who originates, structures and manages bespoke investments for high net worth and private investors with asset managers, investment managers and property managers. Typical transaction sizes are €50m - €100m +. Their team offers sale and leaseback, active asset and property management to their investors.
The team is now looking for a bi-lingual Investment Analyst who speaks English and at least one other European language fluently such as Dutch, German, Polish or any other Eastern European language. The successful candidate will be involved in the execution of deals which will deploy around EUR 1.5 billion of capital across Europe over the next 12 months. You will sit in the investment team and will work closely with other deal sourcers/originators and partners.
About the role:
*Financial modeling in Excel for transactional opportunities
*Preparing investment memoranda on investment opportunities and presenting your findings to colleagues and investors
*Assisting in various aspects of the due diligence process (including real estate valuation and financial due diligence)
About you:
*Fluent in English and at least one other European language
*Highly numerical
*Excellent written English
*Good knowledge of modeling cashflows in Excel, plus PowerPoint and Word
*Superb attention to detail
*Strong problem-solving abilities
*Ability to show initiative and persistence
*Highly organised with excellent communication skills
You will have around 1 year's experience in real estate investment management, investment banking, corporate finance, consulting or any other highly numeric field and possess a superb understanding of economics and corporate finance. Additionally, you will have experience of developing financial models from scratch and an interest in real estate private equity.
