Central London - Client-Side Construction (Heritage)

The Role: Are you an experienced Building Project Manager striving to find that work life balance? Would a client-side role at an iconic, worldwide venue offering an unrivalled 32 days holiday suit? On top of that, my client offers 13:00 lunchtime finishes for the whole of August!

This role is focussed on providing Building Project Management support to the Head of Venue Operations & the Facilities Manager in the successful end to end planning and delivery of a broad range of exciting and varied special projects.

The Client: Their central London location is a destination venue for conferences, events, exhibitions, and celebrations and continues to be one of the fastest growing and most sought-after creative event spaces in Europe. This unique 200-year-old, grade one listed building combines progressive spaces against an architecturally significant backdrop.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience for the Project Manager:

3 years' experience (minimum)
Construction related degree
Establishment of clear and concise project management plans, to include; detailed briefs, objectives and resource requirements.
Daily administration of; Project Schedules, Gantt Charts, Budgets & Meeting Minutes.
Undertaking of contractor due diligence, including reference and financial background checks
Building trusting and strong working relationships with venue stakeholders, contractors and the wider team.
Extensive knowledge and experience of successful project management.
Significant experience of working in an established project management environment.
Track record of successful project delivery in line with desired outcomes and agreed quality, time and cost limits.
Experience of working successfully on multiple projects at the same time.
Proven experience of appropriate use of project management tools and techniques to enable successful project delivery.
Demonstrable experience of managing contractors successfully to deliver desired results within quality parameters, timeframe and cost limitations
