Are you an academic or a property practitioner looking for an innovative and successful university to take your next step? If you have a passion and enthusiasm for teaching and nurturing the next generation of real estate professionals, then this role could be for you.

The Department of Property Management & Development has an excellent record of graduate employment, delivering vocational courses with employability embedded at their heart.  This is achieved through excellent relationships with industry and the employment of experts with extensive market experience within the teaching team. We deliver well-established and highly successful professionally accredited courses in real estate and surveying, at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

The role involves contributing to teaching real estate related subjects and tutoring students on our undergraduate and postgraduate real estate and investment and finance routes. This will include grading and assessment and provision of feedback to students. The successful candidate will contribute to the academic management and development of courses, scholarly activity and research.

The role requires knowledge and skills in one or more of the following specialisms:

1. Property Development and planning

2. Property Management and/or corporate real estate

Our award winning city centre campus delivers an inspirational learning environment for both staff and students.  Our research facilities allow us to shape lives and society, which is central to our mission and achievements of our aims.

2017/18 was full of prizes, publicity and recognition for the NTU community, culminating in our receipt of the prestigious University of the Year award. Along the way, we’ve recorded some of the highest student satisfaction levels in the country in the 2017 National Student Survey, and achieved the TEF gold standard for the quality of our teaching. All of these achievements are testament to the passion, ideas and ambition of our workforce.

Our rise up the league tables, alongside a number of prestigious national awards, demonstrate the potential that creating and forging excellent partnerships, while harnessing the talents of all our people, can bring. We are now looking for more passionate, ambitious people to join us and help build the university of the future.
