Your new company

A multi-disciplinary practice of chartered professionals consisting of Planners, Surveyors, Architects, Landscape Architects, Environmental Specialists and Urban Designers; working within their head office in Swindon, Wiltshire.

Your new role

As a Town Planner you will be working in a small, friendly and supportive environment and reporting directly to the Planning Director, you will be responsible for assisting with and delivering a wide variety of planning solutions including the preparation of planning applications, appeal submissions, and development plan representations. Your work could include working across multiple sectors and on multiple projects at any one time. Multiple roles are available for the Swindon office both for mid-career level Town Planners as well as Associate / Director level positions. 

What you'll need to succeed

You should have good all-round general planning knowledge, gained in either the private or public sectors, as you will be expected to work in many areas including residential, strategic land, mixed-use schemes and renewable energy on behalf of a varied private and public sector client base. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are also important as is the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment and work to tight deadlines is also required. Applicants must possess an accredited planning degree and ideally be a full chartered member of the RTPI. Applications will be considered by those still working towards this accreditation.
