Job Title     Senior Valuer – Hotel Valuation

Reports to    Head of Hotel Valuations, Germany & CEE

Location   Vacancies in Munich & Berlin

Role Purpose

Supporting the Head of Hotel Valuations of the German based Valuation team, providing assistance in undertaking and supervising single asset and portfolio instructions across Germany.

Key Responsibilities

• Obtaining information required for valuations.
• Co-ordinating inspections.
• Managing instruction timelines and ensuring deadlines.
• Client/third party liaison.
• Preparing valuations and reports.
• Supervising and coordinating a team of junior valuers / analysts.

• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritise and co-ordinate tasks efficiently ensuring all deadlines are met.
• Accurate and exceptional attention to detail.
• Team player – willing to take on other responsibilities in addition to day to day role.

Requirement

• MRICS qualified.
• Bachelor’s degree in real estate, finance or hotel administration.
• Fluency in German

Previous experience in Valuation is essential

• Knowledge of the European hotel industry and hotel real estate market is desired but not essential.
• Trading basis valuation experience preferable.
• Good understanding of Red Book reporting requirements.
• Solid analytical and numerical skills - able to interpret data and discuss findings in reports.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.  Fluency in other European languages would be a key advantage.
• Excellent IT skills.
• Strong report writing and proofreading capabilities.
• Confirmed proficiency in use of spread sheets and financial modelling.
• Able to travel within EMEA (when required).
• Valid driver’s licence.
