Property & Asset Manager - East Devon

Interim opportunity for a Property & Asset Manager to join an organisation based in the Devon region

Your new company
As a Property & Asset Manager you will oversee a responsive and planned maintenance operation overseeing wider strategy for over 4000 properties in the region. You'll join a dedicated asset team which consists of maintenance surveyors, planned works managers, team leaders and a repairs help desk.

Your new role
In the short term your role will involve management of the day to day repair and planned maintenance service which also includes property improvements and adaptations. You will lead in the management of individuals and teams in the department, and oversee running of an effective asset management strategy, an efficient repairs service, all aspects of compliance and also condition data.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed in this potentially long term interim role you will need to be able to demonstrate experience in general management of a housing service, understanding of good public relations and customer care, and an understanding of the development and delivery of affordable housing.

What you'll get in return
In return you'll be offered an initial interim contract for between 3-6 months, which is likely to extend further or could materialise into a permanent position later down the line. You'll be able to work up to 37.5 hours or five days per week.
