Project Manager

A prolific opportunity for a project manager to join a multi-disciplinary construction consultancy, in Newcastle, whose service offerings cover project and cost management and building surveying.

About the client; 

This position is a key appointment for the UK team, which is currently made up of three shareholding Directors, Associates, Project Managers and Quantity Surveyors bringing the team to a strong 20 people. The Newcastle office currently stands at one associate hence this appointment is vital for them to continue growth.

The projects you will be overseeing are based in and around the north east. One of the key clients has a £60m industrial shed being constructed which requires project management support. Typically, the schemes they are engaged on are heavily engineered and have a high complexity level on automation, as well as very tight build programmes.

About you;

You will have prior experience within the industrial or commercial fit-out sector and have worked on complex projects with tight deadlines from a value of £5 million+. You will have a construction or related degree and be working towards, or already have gained, your chartership or becoming affiliated to a professional body.

Compensation; 

In return you will receive;

• Base salary of up to £50,000
• Car allowance of £5,000
• Up to 20% bonus
• 5% Pension
• Holiday
• Professional fees
