Quantity Surveyor (Junior / Mid Level) - Construction Consultancy

A construction consultancy focused in the retail, commercial and residential sectors is looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join the team. This role will provide you with a variety of projects, and additionally, they are keen to make sure staff stay fresh with work and alternate projects regularly meaning you spend no more than 18 months working in the same sector. This is an exciting relatively new company having started just under 10 years ago with only 2 staff – they now have 70 across 3 offices. This role will be based in the Milton Keynes office where you will join a team of around 20 professional staff.

They have a relaxed and informal working environment, directors sit in amongst the staff and they operate a casual dress code. This belies the fact that they work hard for their clients and deliver exceptionally high-quality work. Example recent projects include 600 national bank refurbishments valued between £500k and £3.5m per project. Leading retail stores and supermarkets are also clients that have extended work plans in place.

Experience wise, you should be already working as a Quantity Surveyor. You will ideally have 2 – 3 years experience preferably in retail, residential or commercial sectors.
