Building Surveyor

Multi-disciplinary consultancy have a rare opportunity for an experience Building Surveyor to join their team. With the team built upon different backgrounds and skillsets you will have the opportunity to build your own skills as well as share best practice with others. 

Together the team offer many services to a range of clients. As a dedicated member of the team, you will provide technical expertise covering independent certifier services, technical advisory and technical due diligence.

Your primary focus will be to assist in the delivery of technical advisory services core work streams, including condition surveys, independent certifier related roles and operational compliance audits.

Please note that this role will support clients nationally so a flexible attitude to travelling will be necessary. 

Responsibilities will include:

> Providing independent advice to lenders and investors in the property and construction sectors
> Providing day to day project management of IC services on a number of projects
> Supporting the team in the delivery of technical advisory services, including technical due diligence reviews, asset condition surveys and lifecycle / maintenance assessments
> Creating logical and innovative solutions to compliment the delivery of the teams work
> Liaising extensively with external and internal clients; presenting proposals and agreeing a course of action
> Ensuring clients receive the assistance needed to implement necessary actions
> Deliver quantitative and qualitative analysis in which the inputs and outputs are clear, reliable and well documented.

Qualifications, Attributes and Work Experience:

> Degree qualification in Building Surveying or related 
> MRICS or MCIOB
> Be hardworking and able to set and manage your own schedules
> Have a flexible approach to working and be a team player
> Be an excellent communicator and be able to act as an impartial and unbiased technical expert
> You will be driven and motivated to succeed .
