This is an excellent opportunity for a Planning Manager to join an expanding Asset Management firm and establish a planning function within the business focusing on developments across residential, hospitality, student accommodation, and commercial sectors.

My client is an Asset Management firm based in London with a portfolio across multiple classes including residential, hospitality, and commercial. Having grown a strong UK portfolio more recently they have looked overseas whilst continuing to deliver a range of new projects. In line with this expansion the Acquisitions Director is looking to recruit a Planning Manager into a newly-created role.

Description

In this newly created Planning Manager role you will be based in the London office and tasked with building the planning function within the business. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Development of planning policies and procedures within the business;

• Working closely with the Acquisitions Director to make assessment of potential sites;

• Supporting early stage design of sites including layout planning;

• Ownership of full planning application process including liaison with consultants and LPAs;
• Engage in public consultation as required.

Profile

As a strong applicant for this Planning Manager position you will:

• Be registered MRTPI;

• Have a background in a developer or consultancy at Senior Planner or Planning Manager level;

• Demonstrate a track record of successful planning applications, specifically for residential developments;

• Be interested in the opportunity to build a planning function and be comfortable working on your own.

Job Offer

The offer to the successful candidate will be between £50,000-£60,000 depending on experience plus a benefits package including bonus, pension, PMI, etc.
