Director Building Surveying

One of our most trusted clients is currently recruiting for a head of building surveying to lead their Birmingham office to contribute and develop their commercial service offering. 

The business is one of the UK’s most recognised property consultancy’s, comprised of over 750 professionals with a network of offices throughout the UK. They work with major institutions to private landowners and homeowners, leading major projects for public bodies, continuing to develop their presence within the world of science parks.

The opportunity will see you generating fees through management and development, nurturing existing relationships, implementing strategies to help grow the department. 

You will be expected to provide a full building surveying service, to their external clients within the commercial sector, providing advice ranging from surveys, through to development monitoring, PPM’s and Dilapidations. You will be expected to work closely with other departments in house, cross-selling and utilising these platforms to add greater value to projects and client’s needs. 

You will be chartered via MRICS, who can display technical competence and good working knowledge of all relevant legislations. As the face of building surveying, you be commercial awareness and possess strong communication skills, always seeking the next opportunity to develop and grow.
