Intermediate Quantity Surveyor - Surrey

Our clients are an independent multi-disciplinary construction consultancy working on projects across all construction sectors. Their client base ranges from private individuals, banks, private equity funds and solicitors to family offices, developers and contractors. Due to recent growth, they are currently looking for an intermediate level Quantity Surveyor to join their Surrey office.

The role:
The ideal candidate will have experience working as a Quantity Surveyor within a consultancy environment and within all aspects of pre and post contract quantity surveying duties. You will have excellent communication skills with experience of working within client facing roles and a forward thinking approach with the ability to develop client relationships.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Project Quantity Surveying
- Preparing regular valuations and cost reports
- Delivering projects on time and to budget
- Acting as Employers Agent and Contract Administrator on JCT forms of Contract
- Preparing feasibility budget estimates and NRM cost plans
- Project Management

Requirements:
- You will ideally be working towards MRICS qualification
- RICS Accredited degree in Quantity Surveying
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar position
- Commitment to team working and good communicative skills
- A professional conduct
- A full and clean driving licence (and a willingness to travel)
- Sound knowledge of standard methods of measurement
- Knowledge of CAD, BIM and computerised measurement systems would be an advantage
- Basic Health & Safety knowledge
