Chartered Building Surveyor

A West End based property company are looking to recruit a Chartered Building Surveyor to join their team. You will be working across a commercial portfolio on a variety of survey and project work.

Main duties:

• Negotiating schedules of dilapidations primarily for commercial buildings.
• Preparation of schedules of condition for new leases.
• Producing specification of works for a wide range of properties.
• Carrying out due diligence when acquiring new commercial acquisitions.
• Providing technical support with various development opportunities.
• Provision of board reports and surveys on various types of properties, commercial and residential.
• Providing professional support to the facilities departments / property managers of the operating divisions on both freehold and leasehold properties.
• Providing budgets / costings for various types of works both minor and major.
• Specifying, tendering and project management of major works mainly on commercial properties.
• Regular reporting of project costs against budgets.
• Providing technical support for the submission of licences to alter and the follow through process to completion
