Macdonald & Company are working with a long standing client who are looking to appoint an Interim Estates Director who will have experience across commercial, retail, residential and mixed use portfolios sectors.
The successful candidate will lead all key areas from estate management strategy and concept through to hands on day to day implementation of this strategy.
They will implement a comprehensive estate management strategy considering the long-term operational requirements of the built estate that exceeds industry standards of good estate management and sets world class standards in both customer focused delivery and service that defines the project as a cultural destination and exceptional place to live, do business and visit.
A key part of the role will be the set up and launch of a major new retail destination and corresponding mobilisation including managing a competitive service charge.
You'lll provide the development team with active design and operational input to ensure that current and future phases are fit for purpose and designed with long term efficient property and asset management in mind.
Provide leadership to both the inhouse and outsourced Estate Management team and ensure they are ever evolving and the operation is always exceptional. Other areas of focus are as below:-
Develop, lead and drive forward an estate management strategy and implement all necessary operational processes, procedures and structures which underpin this strategy therefore ensure that both live and developing phases are managed in a manner which exceed industry standards and drive maximum efficiency, focused on an outsourced model.
Team Management and Development - The review and/or formation of the operational team, and subsequent strategic leadership and management of this team.
Responsible for setting a clear estate management strategy and ensuring this is implemented through the team with regular reporting to the CEO.
Customer Service - Mastermind & deliver a proactive and responsive approach to customers, using innovation and a desire to exceed customer expectations. Lead by example in delivering a professional, focused service, resulting in customer loyalty and repeat business.
The ideal candidate must illustrate extensive experience of working on; Income growth, Financial Management, Budgeting and Service Charge, Commercial Planning, Organisational Standards
