Senior Asset Manager - Student Housing

A global fund manager with total assets under management exceeding $50 billion are seeking a Senior Manager to join their growing business.

The role is sitting in their Student Accommodation division and you will responsible for the execution of asset management strategies across their expanding UK portfolio in order to optimise income and realise the highest value of their assets. You will personally manage in excess of 5,000 student beds within the portfolio and the business is actively acquiring new sites so you will also work closely with the Investment team to assess new investment opportunities.

Job Responsibilities:

• Preparing and monitoring budgets and assisting with financial modelling of assets, portfolios and funds.
• Analysing and interrogating the operating characteristics of properties.
• Agreeing and implementing strategies to stabilise and enhance value.
• Reviewing portfolio income and reporting on the portfolio on a monthly and quarterly basis.
• Building strong relationships with tenants and working with appointed managing operators to achieve best results.
• Running the due diligence process for potential acquisitions.

Requirements:

• Advanced level of financial modelling in MS Excel.
• A good understanding of asset management initiatives.
• Experience working on CapEx projects.
• Prior experience working with student accommodation or other operational assets is advantageous.
