This is one of the UK's largest real estate consultancies with offices all over the world, they have a very strong presence in the Midlands market. The main focus of this role would be occupier management working alongside a dynamic portfolio of one of Britain's best known companies. They have built up a considerable backlog of work, and need a contractor to come in and assist in the reduction of this workload.
The management team is based in Birmingham and you will look after the portfolio nationally. You will be advising and working closely with the client, providing advice on the portfolio and dealing with internal resources/external suppliers. There is a backlog of site inspection work, and a considerable amount of this role will involve travel to site to do the inspections, but you will also be involved with the day to day management of the portfolio.
Skills & Experience
The company requires experienced Management Surveyors or people with commercial property management experience. You should ideally be be MRICS chartered and ideally have experience of Corporate Real Estate. They would consider non chartered people but you must have a good track record in property management and have previously worked within a consultancy environment.
This role will be paid as a day rate on a Ltd company contractor basis. Because of Covid-19 this role can be based from home or the offices in central Birmingham, although there will be some requirement to come into the office at times. On some days you will doing site inspections and naturally on these days you will travel from home to site and back.
