Development Manager - London

An award-winning residential developer with aggressive land targets over the next 24 months is seeking a Development Manager to join their growing team. This role will be based in London and working on projects across London and Greater London with exposure to PRS, hotel and student accommodation developments.

Reporting to the Development Director, you will be responsible for conceptualising projects and managing the delivery of key stages. You will take complete responsibility for the progress of new developments through the technical, legal, planning, financial and sales stages.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Produce overarching development strategy and be responsible for delivering the agreed outcomes.
  • Appointing and managing team of consultants to ensure that each development is optimised and efficiently managed.
  • Negotiate and review legal documentation including s106 obligations.
  • Ongoing monitoring of financial performance, reviewing and managing budgets and programme.
  • Reporting on the progress of all sites.
  • Liaising with Sales & Marketing and Construction teams regarding design and specification.

Key requirements include:

  • Track record managing complex residential developments through the elements of the development cycle.
  • Strong commercial awareness including financial modelling and budget control.
  • Currently working in a Development Manager role.

The salary is between £65,000 - £85,000 (dependant on experience) plus competitive bonus and benefits package.
