Retail Valuations - All levels

A global market leading property consultancy based all over the UK, have a need for  dynamic and tenacious valuation surveyors to come into their Retail team and help become a focal point of their ever-expanding team. My client is extremely ambitious with a huge foothold in both the UK and European markets. As such, they’re open to level and are interested in making several hires.

The role

You will be working for one of the most highly decorated private consultancies who have offices all over the continent. The role covers all areas of valuation but with an emphasis on the valuation of Retail properties. You’ll be working all over Greater London and the South East undertaking valuations for loan security, financial reporting & general advisory purposes. As previously mentioned, my client has an outstanding reputation in these areas and their focus is on winning work involving highly regarded commercial properties with fees and returns to match. They can offer varied and challenging caseloads often involving Central London trophy assets and intriguing development opportunities. Day to day you will report to a Valuation Consultancy Director and will in turn be part of a team of Registered Valuers and Graduates on a project by project basis. My client is highly professional with an outstanding training program in place; they are firm believers in organic growth and have plans to grow both nationally and internationally in the near future.

About you

Must be MRICS, it would be beneficial if you have worked for UK private consultancies (although public sector experience will also be considered, particularly those with London experience) and already be an established player in the Valuation market. Being a RICS Registered Valuer is also important. You will have autonomy in managing your own case load with an expectation of you working efficiently to maximise revenue.

It would be advantageous if your experience included:

- Residential and Commercial property, particularly from a Retail background

- Billing over £100k

- Being open minded in regards to exploring new avenues of work within the valuation sphere

- Having strong IT skills especially, Microsoft Office, Prodev, Argus Investor and Argus Developer

- Act as a mentor when supporting graduate team members in their APC preparations
