Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum

One of Kent’s leading multi-discipline practices is looking for a Senior Building Surveyor to join their projects team.

My client is a modern organisation who operate across the public, commercial and private education sectors. They pride themselves on providing accurate property advice across the built environment.  

The practice has built longstanding relationships with reputable clients which has led to a healthy pipeline of work. Due to the increase in workload a position in the surveying team has arisen.

About the role;

This is a project focused building surveying role undertaking schemes ranging from £300k - £4million. The work ranges from maintenance and refurbishment programmes on public and education structures.

You will be tasked with leading projects from inception to completion, whilst managing client and external stakeholder relationships. The successful surveyor will have to deliver several projects at one time across Kent and London.

About you;  

We are looking for an experienced building surveyor who has proven project experience across a public and education sector background. You will need to be able to hit the ground running and be confident in leading large schemes.

You will be a proactive and positive professional who can work within an individual and team environment. A surveyor who has pays close attention to detail and is willing to go the extra mile.

• MRICS
• ‘Can do’ attitude
• Proven project background
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Full UK Drivers Licence

In return the business will offer you a competitive salary plus mileage and additional benefits. They promote working from home however you will be required to attend the office a few days a week. You will be given a mobile phone and laptop to operate whilst on site and from home.
