Hays are delighted to be working with another client-side niche development / investment company with international holdings, this small organisation are currently redeveloping and refurbishing a mixed use multi-let office building in central London. There is a current interim requirement for a qualified QS to work on an interim basis.

Your new company

This is a fantastic client-side opportunity to work for a niche international property development company who are currently focused on a refurbishing a large commercial building in central London located close to Liverpool Street. This opportunity will allow the successful candidate to report and liaise at board level, taking ownership of the project by delivering prime central London office space for a boutique business.

Your new role

This is an interim / temporary quantity surveying role based in central London where the successful candidate will be tasked with the delivery of a refurbishment, cut and calve fit-out of a mixed-use commercial office building. The role will require a professionally qualified QS to manage external consultants, third party relations and onsite contractors while managing costs and risks. A working knowledge of project management, M&E, cost management and contract management will be useful.

What you'll need to succeed

MRICS Chartered - Preferable The successful candidate will have a background and track record of delivering high-end commercial office building refurbishments & fitouts in central London. The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of M&E works to assist the onsite team and construction manager in delivering a low risk project on time and in budget. This is a niche company with a small team therefore ownership and responsibility has never been more important.
