Management Surveyor / Corporate Advisory - Birmingham

The Company

A major property consultancy with a number of major corporate real estate contracts is looking for a Senior Surveyor to work with two of their major clients on a split basis. The main focus of this role would be occupier management and real estate advisory services due to a changing, dynamic portfolio the clients operate.

The Role

The company is recruiting at Surveyor or Senior Surveyor level but are flexible and may consider someone at a higher or lower level (with salary to match)
This team is based in Birmingham, although you will look after the portfolio nationally. You will be advising and working closely with the client, providing advice on the portfolio and dealing with internal resources/external suppliers. The work will involve day-to-day management, but it will also extend into asset management and additionally, L&T, business rates appeals, agency/disposals, lease exit and sub-letting. It will require a small amount of travel to sites, perhaps 2 days in the month

Skills & Experience

The company requires experienced Surveyors with commercial property management experience and in addition to this you should be MRICS chartered due to the wide ranging nature of the role extending beyond traditional property management. The ideal experience would be a candidate that had previously managed a corporate real estate portfolio.

Covid-19

Due to the ongoing nature of the pandemic this role will be home based for the foreseeable future. It is possible to work from the Covid secure offices, should you prefer to but it is likely you will be home based until well into 2021.
