My client is a large property services PLC specialising in Leasehold Block Management nationally.
Within their in-house Surveying team, they now seek a Head of Surveying Services who will lead, develop, grow and market their Surveying specialisms to their existing and future client bases.
The suitable Head of Surveying will be an MRICS/FRICS qualified Surveyor, ideally from the Building Surveying faculty, who would like to lead, develop and grow the in-house Surveying/Major works function of a major UK property management PLC.
The successful Head of Surveying can work part home based, reporting to a Hertfordshire head office as required and will explore and develop new revenue streams, manage and develop new and existing surveying teams and work directly alongside the board in the future shape and direction of the business.
The suitable Head of Surveying will need 10 years senior surveying experience, broad technical exposure, outstanding IT/systems experience and come from a stable career history ideally focused on residential projects or property generally.
In addition, the suitable Head of Surveying will need to have sound business acumen and commercial awareness and enjoy mentoring junior surveyors (perhaps through their APC) whilst providing technical oversight on particularly complex projects or surveys (i.e. cladding replacement schemes on qualifying blocks)
Remuneration for the successful Head of Surveying includes a basic up to £90k to start plus executive car or allowance and corporate benefits package (BUPA etc.)
