Intermediate Quantity Surveyor/Employers Agent

I am currently working alongside a medium sized multi-disciplinary consultancy who are actively seeking an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor/Employers Agent to come and join the team in South East London.

With 3 offices based in the UK, you will be based in their head office, consisting of 70 employees spread across numerous disciplines. This includes; cost consultants, project managers, building surveyors, employers’ agents and architects. Being able to provide an array of services has resulted in the delivery of projects covering a multitude of different sectors.

Predominately known for their expertise on Residential schemes, they have also delivered projects in the Educational, Blue Light, Commercial and Health sectors meaning you will be given the exposure to add a well-rounded mix of experience to your portfolio.

In terms of the role, they are ideally seeking a technically sound mid-level QS with Employers Agent experience to work on social housing developments based in Sussex. You will be given the flexibility to work from home when needed but will need to come into the office and work on site when required.

The one thing that sets this firm apart from its competitors is the emphasis on the quality of work they look to produce for their clients. In light of this, the office is shut for 1 day per year to all technical staff, where there is a company-wide seminar to discuss how the year has gone, the positives and where they can look to improve.

The ideal account:

• 3 – 5 years’ experience
• Soon to be chartered
• Residential experience is essential
• Happy to travel to Sussex when required
