An opportunity for an Assistant Building Surveyor has come up in London (City Location)
This is a company steeped in history within the UK. Within the building consultancy team, projects are typically in the health, residential and healthcare sectors. The role will be focussed on general building surveying allowing you to complete all competency areas and enable you to become chartered. There will be an excellent support network for APC candidates.
Career development is prominent here with the company looking for a Building Surveyor that has already commenced their Building Surveying journey to complement their already experienced team. Several employees have been with the company for many years and have had the opportunity to work their way through the ranks, to Director level, and that could also be a career path you could pursue should you wish.
To be eligible for this role you must have an RICS accredited degree and already have experience working as a Building Surveyor ideally within a Consultancy. You must be self-motivated with a strong knowledge of Building Surveying activities. In addition to this you will need excellent attention to detail, excellent communication skills as well as the ability to work independently and within a team. This role would suit a person that may not be currently getting the support in their APC. Meaning you are now looking for a more stable company with the expertise to develop you, allowing you to qualify as a chartered surveyor. They may consider an exceptional fresh graduate with some previous experience gained in a sandwich year or similar.
In exchange for this the package on offer is highly competitive including career development options and support, excellent salary, pension, life insurance, season ticket loan scheme, paid professional memberships, 25 days holiday + public holidays and flexible working options.
