Salary range £42,000 to £50,000 FTE pa plus benefits

Imagine being an academic at the leading online university? Make it happen!

University College of Estate Management (UCEM) is a long-standing and leading provider of supported online education. We have been delivering online for so long, we really know what we are doing. We put students at the centre of everything and it would be great for you to come and join our team; we are also operating normally during the pandemic.

Overall, UCEM exists to provide accessible, relevant and cost-effective education which enhances careers, increases professionalism and leads to a better Built Environment; we are also very passionate about sustainability. We operate from the UK and Hong Kong, have a global reach, and at any one time over 3,500 students are studying online with us.

We have several teaching opportunities available within the Built Environment discipline, including construction management and quantity surveying. You will provide academic leadership in your subject area across the postgraduate and/or undergraduate academic provision; you must also have consideration for the requirements of skills and knowledge development and academic delivery, within the UK and internationally. You will be involved in some teaching and module development, as well as in programme and module review, plus you will contribute to enhancing the student experience, employability, and surveying education research.

All roles are varied and demanding but you will work with a great community of tutors, digital education experts, and professional student support teams.

UCEM is a place where you can bring your industry and teaching expertise to an online education environment, and really make a difference. We expect you to have good IT and digital skills and be passionate about teaching online; the remaining requirements are set out fully within the job specification.

At UCEM we expect employees to demonstrate our values: Passion, Integrity, Excellence and Support. Student satisfaction and success are our main drivers and our people consistently report high levels of employee satisfaction; your contribution will be valued, should you join us.
