Your new role

As a disrepair surveyor you will manage a range of disrepair and complex complaints cases, preparing reports and managing external contractors to deliver specific work. You will liaise and resolve cases and be a crucial link between reactive and planned maintenance department to ensure and identify any emerging trends and patterns that may be emerging. Within this role you will provide proactive solutions and ensure you react with any challenges that may arise. As a disrepair surveyor you will identify and structural or mechanical changes within the property which could include issues with walls, roofing and windows. You will then make recommendations on these repairs and ensure these are signed off to match budgets and costing.

What you'll need to succeed

To be a successful disrepair surveyor you must have working experience within this work before, being able to deliver court cases and have sound knowledge on construction methods and disrepair cases. For this role it is essential you are chartered.
