As a result of market improvements and stamp duty incentives, they now require an additional building surveyor for privately instructed Homebuyer Reports and Building Surveys across London and Inner M25 postcodes generally (they do not undertake lender work so there are no radius restrictions on local knowledge)
For suitable Residential / Building Surveyors keen, there is also an option to fulfil a wider professional remit encompassing project work and professional services across their in-house residential and commercial portfolios.
The successful Residential / Building Surveyor will provide a low volume, high quality service to private clientele undertaking bespoke HBR and Building Surveys with sensible turnaround times for high fees.
For those Surveyors coming from a panel / main lender background, our client offers a less time focused alternative with a genuine team environment and shorter route to progression and potential equity. Our client does NOT operate a points/volume/commission based incentive scheme so the focus really is on doing things right/bespoke and winning further business through recommendation.
In terms of wider professional exposure, our client can offer those Residential / Building Surveyors keen involvement in schedules of works and specifications, contract administration and project management, dilapidations, insurance valuations / claims and licenses for alterations.
Suitable Residential / Building Surveyors will come from either a corporate panel management or private practice background, have a stable career history, a genuine interest in quality focused, non-time constrained inspection work and live within a reasonable commute of East London (whilst our client offers part home working, they do expect Residential / Building Surveyors to attend the office as part of their focus on team building).
Remuneration for the successful Residential / Building Surveyor is negotiable but will include a highly competitive basic, profit share, car allowance and potential equity long term (as well as RICS fees paid etc.)
