Are you MRICS with team management experience and looking for a new challenge? Would you like to work in the building surveying team of a reputable firm, working on projects within a wide variety of sectors? Are you based in either Birmingham or Manchester?
The company:
The firm in question are a world-leading property consultancy that offer a full range of commercial property services. This company have recently instructed Beach Baker to recruit a Chartered Building Surveyor for their Birmingham and Manchester team - please note, there are two separate roles for each of these offices.
The role:
The firm are looking for motivated candidates who are ambitious and keen to progress. You must have ambition to develop service capability and build a team within Birmingham's multi-disciplinary office. You will utilise your knowledge of regional markets, be responsible for staff members and have a thorough understanding of the financials involved in budgeting, fee forecasting and invoicing.
The position also involves undertaking typical professional and project work for a combination of both small and large clients. The successful candidate will complete dilapidations, building surveys for investment and occupation purposes, schedules of condition, defect analysis, contract administration, refurbishment works and maintenance advice (PPM), development monitoring and project work.
The candidate:
To be considered, you must be MRICS with between 3-10 years PQE and have consultancy experience. In addition, you must be able to complete the full range of building surveying and be client-facing.
