Asset Manager for Local Authority Housing Maintenance
A busy local authority with own Housing Stock in Leicestershire
As the temporary Asset Manager your role will be to manage the team, which includes temporary and permanent employees and help prepare the development of the new Asset Management Strategy and Zero Carbon Plans.
You will responsible for financial management;project management and staff management, risk mitigation;compliance for asbestos, Legionella and fire risk, You will ensure the Asset Register database is up to date with stock condition reports.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to have a proven track record of working in a similar role in another social housing department of either Housing Association or Local authority.
You will have a building or engineering background
This role is inside IR 35 so it is PAYE or Umbrella
