Construction Project Manager - £50 Million Framework

A global construction consultancy has commenced recruitment for a senior Project Manager to manage delivery of large scale construction projects within a £50 million framework, on an MOD contract. Your role will be primarily based on site (and some home based) to manage the client, end customer and any stakeholders. You will lead and oversee the successful delivery of defence projects (in conjunction with the Project Management partners) working on new high profile defence projects.

These projects will comprise of large, heavily engineered, assembly hall facilities (large industrial buildings) incorporating specialist mechanical and electrical fit-out works

 The role will involve the following

• Risk management
• Change management
• Programme Management
• Design acceptance management
• Project controls
• Site management including Health and Safety
• Client and Stakeholder management
• Client Reporting

Experience Required

• Construction Project Management degree or a similar construction related qualification with extensive technical delivery experience in a similar role gained within a consultancy or end user client.
• MRICS or membership of other relevant professional body (CIOB, APM etc)
• NEC accreditation
• Experience in delivering complex framework agreements in the defence or public sector
• Experience managing large and complex projects from conception through to completion
