Smart Home Surveys are seeking a qualified Residential Surveyor, based in or within reach of South London to join our team to service our rapidly expanding workload.

Smart Home Surveys is a private surveying practice offering pre-purchase condition reports, portfolio appraisals and valuations to private and corporate clients. Our core objective is to offer the highest quality of reports to our customers within an unrivalled turnaround period. We utilise the latest on-site reporting software to ensure exceptional time efficiency.

The ideal candidate must be:

  • AssocRICS, MRICS or FRICS qualified
  • Positions from newly qualified to well-experienced available
  • Be familiar carrying out residential Valuations and Pre-purchase condition reports IE: HomeBuyer Reports
  • Hold a full driving license
  • Based within reach of South London postcodes
  • Have a strong work ethic


  • £40,000 - £70,000 OTE (depending on experience). Expenses to be paid in addition
  • Flexible working hours
  • Home-based, office-based or mixed working with remote admin and peer support if necessary.
  • Modern, high-tech office in newly refurbished block.
  • Mostly survey work with less emphasis on valuations.
  • 25 days a year annual leave.
  • Company iPhone, CPD and relevant equipment provided.
  • The option to work four or five days a week
