Specialist Building Control (Grade 5-7)

Salary range:  £29,820 - £48,133 per annum
Full-Time Permanent

Following a recent restructure, Guildford Borough Council Building Control are looking for two Building Control Surveyors.

You will be responsible for an area within the Borough.

Successful candidates should be professionally qualified MRICS, MCABE or equivalent, or be working towards becoming qualified, and should be educated to A level standard/NVQ 3.  A building related degree is desirable.

You should have a good working experience in Building Control and a sound technical knowledge of building practices and current building legislation.

You should have a positive attitude to change, be an effective communicator and be able to form productive working relationships.

You must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to your own car to carry out this role.

A basic DBS check will be required for the successful candidate prior to appointment.
