Asset Manager

1st select are working on behalf of a national consultancy that is looking to grow its Asset Management Team across the UK.  

We are looking for Asset Manager’s in the below locations: 

London  

Birmingham  

Leeds 

Manchester 

Bristol  

The role is varied and will be working on all commercial property types eg: Offices, Retail and Industrial.The ideal candidate will be MRICS qualified with minimum 2 years PQE experience. This experience ideally is within lease advisory however a GP Surveyor with experience within valuations or ratings will also be considered. 

The main responsibilities will include: 

Undertaking rent reviews, lease renewals and market rental valuations 

Lease interpretation, restructuring, renewal and renegotiation strategy 

Advise on sublease and assignment 

Collation and Analysis of Evidence and advise on court procedures 

Negotiations 

Arbitration, Independent Expert and Dispute Resolution referrals but not essential 

Good technical and working knowledge of the Landlord and Tenant Acts 

Experience carrying out rent reviews and lease renewals for clients or agency experience in lettings 

Able to work in a team and autonomously with a varied workload 

Carry out property viewings and inspections, preparing client reports 

Clear and effective negotiator 

A strong drive for results and a proactive mindset 

Excel spreadsheet skills is desirable but not essential
