My client is a long-established, independent managing agent overseeing a portfolio of leasehold blocks on behalf of freeholders and resident management companies (RMC’s) along the south coast.
Within their major works team, they now require an experienced Building Surveyor for oversight of projects/major works ranging from £50-400k in value spanning a variety of blocks including listed buildings.
The successful Building Surveyor / Project Surveyor will ideally hold professional qualification (RICS/CIOB) and come from an extensive, stable background specialising in redecoration works, reroofing, window replacements and related residential projects.
In addition to planned major works, the successful Building Surveyor / Project Surveyor will undertake defect diagnosis, building reinstatement valuations and routine inspections of stone decorative balconies and metal fire escapes.
Ideally, the suitable Building Surveyor / Project Surveyor will live in or close to Hove and have knowledge of the regency buildings inherent to the local area.
Salary for the successful Building Surveyor / Project Surveyor will depend on experience/qualification but will fall within or above current market values.
The successful Building Surveyor / Project Surveyor will also enjoy flexible working enabling a part home base when not on-site or inspecting.
If you are a South Coast Building Surveyor / Project Surveyor who meets the above criteria and would like to express your interest or find out more please apply now for immediate consideration and further info.
