Stock Condition Surveyor (M&E) - Devon & South West

Interim opportunity for an M&E Stock Condition Surveyor to complete surveys on public buildings across Devon

Your new company
You will join a national provider of property solutions who have an immediate requirement for an experienced Building Services Engineer to join their surveying team. You will work for a reputable and historic company who have a track record of providing property solutions for large and complex public sector clients.

Your new role
Your role will involve visiting a wide range of commercial property types based in Devon in order to undertake a condition survey, focusing preliminary on mechanical and electrical property components, including lighting and heating systems. You will be able to use an electronic tablet in order to complete the survey, although experience in the provision of written surveys will still be beneficial.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed in your role you'll need to have a sound understanding of mechanical & electrical components of commercial property. Ideally you'll have worked as an engineer previously, although experience in facilities or estates management could be beneficial.

What you'll get in return
In return you will receive an initial interim contract with duration of up to 4 months, which is likely to extend to 6 months dependent on progress. You'll receive an hourly rate of between £23 - £25 per hour as a premium umbrella or limited company rate.
