Acting as registered landlord, they provide accommodation to those most in need of shelter in Oxfordshire…the homeless. The bar doesn't stop there though, they don't just provide a roof over people's heads, they invest in their schemes and provide the support needed to teach people how to be independent, manage a tenancy and believe in themselves again. Currently in a real transitional period, the organisation is heading down a very exciting path at present and the positive impact they have on the community is immense. Your new role
As a pivotal part of the Senior Management team, you will be tasked with heading up 5 divisions of the organisation and will have 4 direct reports beneath you. This strategic role involves a hybrid of work streams involving Property, Repairs, Voids, H&S, Maintenance, asset management and acquisition of new properties as well as Housing Management, HMO licensing, lease management, Homeless prevention and ASB management.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have previously worked for a social housing provider or registered landlord and will have a strong understanding of housing law and the management of a housing service. You will have overseen property from a managerial point and will be able to create, manage and devise strategies, policies and budgets of up to £1m. You will have worked in a senior position for at least 3 years where you will have been successful in driving a customer focused and quality function.
