Asset Management Analyst / Junior Asset Manager

A global fund manager with total assets under management exceeding $50 billion are seeking an Analyst/Junior Asset Manager to join their growing business.

The role is sitting in their Student Accommodation division and you will responsible for assisting in the execution of asset management strategies across the expanding UK portfolio.

Job Responsibilities

• Analysing and interrogating the operating characteristics of properties
• Assisting in the management of capital budgeting, project tracking and profitability analysis
• Preparing strategy and investment recommendations through written and oral presentations and reports
• Supporting annual budget creation and quarterly forecasting processes
• Assisting with financial modelling of assets, portfolios and funds
• Finding ways to drive value to the operational analysis of our assets and portfolio

Requirements

• Degree in Real Estate, Economics, Accounting, or Architecture
• Significant financial modeling experience, preferably in real estate
• Intermediate expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques
• Experience working with multi-family or student living assets
• Advanced Excel skills along with a creative approach to analysing data to solve problems
• Intermediate PowerPoint skills
• Ownership mentality, should also be flexible and inquisitive
• A demonstrated interest in real estate asset management
• Ability to multi-task projects with overlapping deadlines efficiently and to prioritise effectively
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and process-driven environment
• Familiarity with property management software (Entrata)
