Senior Analyst or Associate

SENIOR ANALYST, EUROPEAN REAL ESTATE PRIVATE EQUITY

Founded c. 15 years ago in London and with a pan-European focus, this medium-sized REPE firm is highly regarded and very successful, operating across main and alternative RE asset classes and sourcing clever, complex value add and opportunistic deals as the capital partner.

Since its inception, the team has transacted on more than £7bn of real estate in c. 400 individual investments. The 40-strong team focuses on generating superior risk-adjusted returns for institutional investors in Europe and the US, investing in joint ventures with proven local operating partners.
Multiple transactions with the same operating partner are often structured as programmatic JVs, targeting a specific strategy/geography.

As a result of the success of its investments, and with significant capital to deploy, the team is growing and there is a requirement for a Senior Investment Analyst (or potentially Junior Associate) with fluent written/spoken English, a second European language and excellent modelling skills to join the team, reporting to the Founding Partner who heads the London office to analyse, underwrite and support deals across European jurisdictions.

Responsibilities
• Analyse and assist with underwriting and structuring of transactions
• Take the lead on financial modelling and research
• Support the co-ordination of due diligence activity
• Work closely with the leaders of the business in executing the strategy and pipeline for the European market
• Assist with investment/divestment decisions and sourcing/closing on financing for deals
• Assist with management of assets acquired, including development of asset management strategies
• Work closely with JV partners, external consultants and property managers.
