A large bio-pharmaceutical company are seeking an experienced UK Director of Facilities to join them permanently. At an exciting time in the companies plans, the role will be a pivotal part of the leadership team and will be instrumental in the next phase of their UK facilities.
Your new role
Responsible for the engineering, operations and building construction for several facilities. Includes GMP and non-GMP engineering and bio-processing requirements, day to day running of the soft services, people management of a small team, budget management, construction and capital projects
What you'll need to succeed
This is a senior role within the business and you must be a proven manager either currently at Director level or at the stage of stepping up in your career. Significant experience within GMP manufacturing is essential and you will be a proven people manager. Ideally you'll be based in or near to Oxford as there will be frequent travel required. A degree in an engineering discipline, architecture or related field or equivalent experience, with significant years of facilities and maintenance operations experience in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry.
